An edgy send-up of the daytime talk show genre, Producing Parker follows the outrageous adventures of overworked and underpaid producer Parker and her quirky crew.
Each episode reveals the wildly hilarious and outrageous behind-the-scenes antics of “The Dee Show” a daytime talk show that sells viewers the myth of “having it all.” The series’ colourful cast of characters includes Dee, the self-absorbed, high maintenance host; Simon, an aspiring field reporter slumming it in daytime TV; and Chicago Hyatt, the sexy, under qualified intern.
Taking a satiric spin on living the dream, Producing Parker gives viewers an entertaining fantastical glimpse behind the scenes of TV that live-action formats can’t provide.
